 Egg Checker
In looking through one of my wife's parrot books ( she has been on a parrot kick for about two years) I notice an egg checker that the parrot people use to check their eggs. I don't know how many times I have climbed up on a small ladder to check eggs and dropped one not to mentioned the times I have about fell off and caned my butt. I thought to myself that it would be a lot better and safer to use one of these. I had an old ammo box in the barn and I put a light socket in it and mounted it eye level and it works great. I put a 100 watt bulb in it and it really works sweet. I also don't have to worry about losing by balance on the small step ladder. Just food for thought.
